Things I wish I (and the whole world) learned as little ones.
- It’s possible to feel pain without suffering
- It’s possible to love yourself without always liking all parts of yourself
- Creativity is so important for aliveness
- It’s beautiful and perfect to be uniquely yourself
- Decisions are powerful and life changing
- There is a whole world beyond the paradigm of “right and wrong”
- Trust yourself. Everything you need is inside of you.
- The better it gets, the better it gets.
- Loving yourself is a process of unlearning, and when it lands, it never leaves.
- It will happen for you.
- Love and boundaries are your superpowers, protectors, and deepest gifts.
- The deepest wisdom is embodiment
- Healing is possible.
- Your parents are your friends
- You will find reciprocity and resonance in friendships and connections.
- You can be so deeply yourself and still have connection.
And...
We are the ancestors of our children. Both the children of the world and our inner children
What do you wish you could have learned?
What do you know now that you didn't know before?
What part of the past can you allow grief and space to breathe for, to make way for a peaceful present and a brighter future?
One moment at a time, what is something you wish you could have learned as a little one that you now know?
Can you tell your inner child what you now know?
See how they feel when you update them about the possibilities in the universe.
Also- this week's podcast "The Possibility in Raising Empowered Children" is available on all podcast platforms. It's full of real life stories, and practical preventative conversation about how to help our children be empowered to know themselves as the possibilities in the universe! I can't wait to hear your resonance and what you loved in the conversation between myself and my co-host and dear friend Chani Frankel.
I come from a developmental therapy background and Chani is a seasoned parent of 20 years. Together we talk about one of our most passionate subjects- trust and empowerment of children (and all people). I can't wait for you to listen if you haven't already!
Much love,
Rivky
