When under-resourced we revisit themes we have already moved past
Have you faced a day, a week, a month or a season where you feel an old theme that you spent time re-patterning come to the surface again?
Sometimes it's coming up to be healed in a deeper way, and sometimes it isn't actually the thing, it's just that you are under- resourced.
Sometimes the best medicine is to take a nap, to end the day and go to sleep, to have a snack or proper meal, or get into a body of water (or drink a glass of water), move the body, connect to nature and re-plug back into your essence.
As Friedrich Nietzsche said: "When we are tired, we are attacked by ideas we conquered long ago”
So when you feel dragged down by negativity, ruminating thoughts, a closed heart or triggers- sometimes looking for what needs to be more deeply looked at or healed is barking up the wrong tree. Sometimes, we all just need a walk and a nap and a moment of presence with the moment that is.
Maybe you are seeing this post when you are scrolling, trying to quiet your mind from any idea or feeling that you've conquered already. Here is a reminder to be gentle, and get some rest.
