Our reactions and perceptions of things wildly differ from each other based on our nature and nurture. Consider your "absolute truths" and stories you hold as facts about yourself and others and how other humans (or parts of yourself) can have a completely different reaction and perception that is also true, based on their own unique early childhood experiences.

I can register a facial expression or comment as camaraderie while you can register it as hurt. You can register a comment and let it slide off of you while I may ruminate on it and let it shape and mold my interactions for a long time after that. Perceptions are not reality but they really do feel that way and we react to life and others and even ourselves (and our healing journey) based on the set of unique met and unmet needs that only we have.

It's wild to consider the lens in which we see the world and how that may drastically differ from person to person. Our lens is completely subjective.

Heal, so you can see the world for what it is, as a clear mirror to reflect your clear insides, instead of through the lens of your wounds, unmet needs, hurt and pain. Heal so you do not let the bleeding of others onto you, make you bleed onto others who never hurt you either.

Healing is realizing your inner goodness. Deep awareness of it. Anything else is a distraction. When you see it in yourself, you see it in everyone. We get to be in resonance with others when we become clear mirrors, seeing ourselves more clearly (seeing our own essence) makes us a clear, safe mirror for another.
